Wireless Access System
Product
Descriptions
The
Novation Security Center is
the intuitive access control software used
to enroll and manage cardholders, track
event conditions, archive activity, and
control system functionality. All database
information is sent to the wireless system
hardware where all access decisions are
made. The computer is not required to be
dedicated, nor is the software required to
be running for the system to operate. The
network supports up to 64 doors for a
full-featured access control system.
The
nLock is a wireless lockset
requiring only four standard AA batteries to
operate for over one year. The unit is
available in a variety of reader
configurations, locksets, and finishes for
maximum flexibility depending on system and
architectural requirements.
The nLock will store up to
5,000 card records and 20,000 transactions,
and communicates with the nHub up to 300
feet away. Battery powered, the nLock
will continue to operate even in a power
failure.
The
nPort-R1 is a wireless Single
Door Controller used to connect door locking
hardware and card readers to the system. It
supports industry standard Wiegand card
readers and cards up to 64 bits in length.
The nPort-R1 provides the unlock relay for
door strike and monitors the request to exit
and door monitor contacts.
The
nPort-I/O is a wireless
Controller used to monitor and report the
status condition of four two-state input
points. In addition, the Controller supports
connection of up to four output devices such
as doors, lights, cameras, and gates.
The
nHub is a wireless interface
unit used to communicate between the System
Security Center and the wireless controllers
and locksets. The nHub stores
up to 10,000 cardholders and 20,000
transactions with 16 time schedules and 32
holidays. One nHub can support
up to 64 wireless devices.
